When Sebastian Gravlund participates in the penultimate round of the Spanish Formula 4 Championship at Circuito de Navarra this weekend, the focus will be on achieving a good qualification.
The northern Spanish racetrack is narrow and offers very few overtaking opportunities, so when the three races are run, it’s crucial to have a good starting position:
– Navarra is quite narrow, so it will be challenging to fight through the field once the race starts. Therefore, we have practiced on the track and focused a lot on setting a fast lap time, so I hope to make my presence felt in the two qualifications, says Sebastian, who has worked diligently to achieve a good result this weekend:
– We tested on the track last week, and I had reasonable speed in the car. I have worked a lot of hours with my coach, Tommy Schröter, and spent plenty of time in the simulator to fine-tune my technique, so I feel well-prepared for the weekend, says Sebastian.
On the short and technical track, Sebastian will draw on all his talents and experiences to achieve his goal of a top placement, but with the groundwork in place and confidence intact, much can be accomplished.
