Sebastian Gravlund’s 2025 season in the European Le Mans Series officially kicks off this weekend as the first round of the highly competitive endurance championship takes place in Spain at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
A super motivated Sebastian Gravlund will participate in his first-ever race in the European Le Mans Series on Sunday. The 20-year-old racing driver has been eagerly awaiting this moment, and together with the Italian top team, Eurointernational, he has set high ambitions for the weekend’s race.

“I’m finally getting my season underway, and I’m really looking forward to this race weekend. I’m driving for a super strong team with ambitions of fighting at the front of the field, and I have a great synergy with my two teammates. We are a solid trio, and we feel ready for the race,” says Sebastian Gravlund, who will be driving the Eurointernational car alongside Ian Aguilera from Mexico and Fabien Michal from France.
As a debutant in the European Le Mans Series, there is a lot of new ground to cover for the young talent. Gravlund is stepping up to one of the world’s toughest LMP3 championships, moving from race distances of just under two hours to races lasting four hours. However, Gravlund brings a year of valuable LMP3 racing experience from last season’s Michelin Le Mans Cup, which he can draw upon.
“Last season was very much about learning, and now that I have a year of experience, I feel ready for tougher competition. There’s no doubt that the LMP3 class in the European Le Mans Series is a highly competitive field with many skilled and experienced drivers that I will be up against,” says Sebastian Gravlund.

Sebastian Gravlund and Eurointernational have just completed two days of testing at the Barcelona circuit as part of the official European Le Mans Series test ahead of this weekend’s season opener. And they did so in the brand-new generation of LMP3 cars, featuring a twin-turbo V6 engine, which are being introduced this year.
“The two test days in the new car went well – we tested different setups, and I got a lot of valuable mileage in the car. It has been super exciting to get to know the new car, especially at a track like Barcelona, where I have raced quite a bit,” he wraps up.
The first round of the season – 4 Hours of Barcelona – will take place on Sunday, April 6, with the race starting at 12:00 PM.
