Sebastian Gravlund

Fast Motorland awaits Sebastian Gravlund

This weekend marks the end of the summer break in the Spanish Formula 4 Championship. Sebastian Gravlund returns to the Spanish tracks well-prepared to further develop his skills.

Even before the summer break, Sebastian and MP Motorsport were at Motorland Aragon, located just under three hours west of Barcelona. Here, Sebastian gained a good impression of the track, and together with the team, they established a good setup for the car:

– It’s a super cool track. It has some fast corner combinations, and you can tell it’s a more modern facility. It seems to suit me well, and we seem to have found a good setup, so I hope we can perform well this weekend, says Sebastian Gravlund, who has done everything in his power to be best prepared:

– I’ve prepared quite a bit for driving the Spanish Formula 4 car, which is a bit different from the Danish one, among other things by working with my motorsport coach, Tommy Schröter, and doing a lot in the simulator at home. In addition, I have a day in the simulator with the team before we travel to Spain, so that should add a bit to that account, says Sebastian.

The focus for the weekend is on qualification. A good starting position is essential if Sebastian is to minimize the risk of collisions and have a chance to earn points for the championship:

– I hope for a good weekend with points on the board. It requires me to utilize my potential and drive a good qualification because then I can run some clean races and show that I have the speed to be competitive – the speed is not lacking, but everything has to come together for me to truly demonstrate it, says Sebastian.
