Gravlund chases a comeback in Valencia

The lessons from the last race weekend have been noted, and Sebastian Gravlund is looking forward to getting back in the seat of MP Motorsport’s Formula 4 car when the third round of the Spanish Formula 4 Championship takes place at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit outside Valencia.

The weekend at Jerez did not go as planned, but in collaboration with Sebastian’s regular coach, the situation has been processed, and there is now full focus on a positive development:

“It was a tough weekend, and it took a while before I could see that I could learn something from it. Fortunately, I’ve had a couple of good talks with my coach, Tommy Schröter, and now I feel well-prepared to chase the goals I’ve set for the weekend,” says Sebastian, who is also excited to return to the Valencia circuit.

“We tested on the track in the spring, and it’s a track that suits me well, and I also think we had good speed there. Of course, it’s different when there are 22-23 other drivers who also want to move up in the field, but I know what my task is, so that’s what I’m focusing on,” he says.

The Valencia circuit is most often used for motorcycle races but provides a good challenge for the young drivers in the Spanish F4 Championship with a combination of long, fast corners and technical sequences.

The weekend’s three races will be broadcast live on YouTube as usual.
