Sebastian Gravlund is chasing Spanish points in Belgium

This weekend, the Spanish Formula 4 Championship travels to more northern regions as the legendary Belgian Formula 1 track, Spa-Francorchamps, hosts the fourth round of the championship.

The historic Belgian racetrack is high on the wishlist for most race drivers, and that includes Sebastian Gravlund. The fast teenager from Smørumnedre is looking forward to starting on the track with a well-prepared race car.

“The race at Spa-Francorchamps is probably the race I’ve been looking forward to the most. It’s a racetrack with a huge history, and at the same time, it’s incredibly cool and technical to drive on, so I think it will be a great experience,” says Gravlund, who is also looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of his Spanish Formula 4 car from MP Motorsport.

In the last round of the championship, Sebastian found the speed and truly approached the top third of the field. The preparations for this weekend’s Belgian race aim to ensure that he and MP Motorsport can maintain that level.

“I feel well-prepared for the weekend, and I know that the team has done their homework properly, so I hope I can stay out of trouble and get a couple of good results,” says Sebastian Gravlund.

“It will be a good challenge to race on a long and fast track like Spa, so I’m mostly just looking forward to getting going and see if my preparations can yield a reasonable return,” says Sebastian Gravlund.

Ahead of the race weekend, Sebastian Gravlund is in fifth place in the Rookie Championship. A good weekend can move him further up in the standings.
