After an instructive season in the F4 Spanish Championship, the Copenhagen-based racing talent is now stepping up and participating in the new Eurocup3 championship with the Dutch team MP Motorsport.

It’s a noticeable step up the ladder for the 18-year-old racer from Smørumnedre, who will not only have to learn new challenging tracks but also adapt to a new and faster race car:

– The Eurocup3 car has around 300 horsepower and much more downforce than the Formula 4 car, so I have a bit to get used to, says Sebastian Gravlund, who can look forward to racing on tracks like Estoril, Zandvoort, and the legendary Monza:

– These are some really cool racetracks that most people dream of getting to drive on, and especially Monza is high on my list of racetracks that must be experienced from a race car. I’m excited to drive it, he says.

The 2023 season will take place with MP Motorsport, the same team Sebastian Gravlund drove for in the Spanish championship last year.

– MP had the best opportunity for me, and I was really happy with the collaboration last year, so it wasn’t a difficult choice to continue there. Eurocup3 is just below Formula 3, so a high level is crucial, and I know that MP is capable of delivering that, so I’m looking forward to starting the season, says Sebastian Gravlund.

The first test drive of the Eurocup3 car will take place at the Valencia circuit in Spain on April 18-19. The season starts at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium on May 5-7.
